General Remark

All submissions will be peer reviewed (double-blind for Full and Short Paper, Poster and WiP).

Please note: These submission types are “review-to-publish” submission types. Each paper must have at least one author participating in the reviewing process. Please check with your co-authors to make sure that at least one of you has agreed to be a reviewer.

Submission Requirements

  • Paper must match the provided Springer template
  • Paper should not exceed the maximum page numbers given below (including bibliography and appendix)
  • Original, unpublished and not simultaneously submitted to other workshops, conferences, or journals
  • Please note that all papers are subject of a plagiarism check. We accept only papers with a similarity index of less than 20% and not more than 100 words per source. Correct citations are excluded.

Papers not meeting these guidelines risk rejection without consideration!

What to submit

Full Papers and Short Papers:
Submit: anonymous complete paper in PDF (10–12 pages for full papers, 6–8 pages for short papers). Here are the template kits for Word and LaTeX.

Work-in-Progress
WiP submissions are for reporting on work that is still in the process of study and/or implementation for which results will not be available by the time of draft paper submission; the paper title must start with “Work-in-Progress:”. Submit: anonymous complete paper (max 6-8 pages) in PDF. Here are the template kits for Word and LaTeX.

Poster
Write a description of the work presented on your poster. The title must start with "Poster: ".Submit: anonymous complete paper (max 6-8 pages) in PDF. Here are the template kits for Word and LaTeX.

Round Table & Panel Discussion Proposal:
Submit: the filled in round table proposal template.

Organization of a Workshop/Tutorial:
Submit: the filled in Workshop/Tutorial proposal template.

Demonstration:
The main goal of the demonstration session is to foster participants discussion simultaneously with demonstration of remote and virtual labs. Online demonstrations or lectures from a remote location are also welcome. The author is supposed to use his/her personal computer. Submit: the filled in Demo Session Proposal template.

Where to upload

All files must be uploaded to the ConfTool Submission Server. IMPORTANT: We work with the metadata that you submit along with your paper, so please:

  • Have the corresponding author submit the contribution
  • Submit correct data:
    • correct spelling of authors' names in paper and metadata,
    • coherent spelling of authors' names trough all your papers if you have more than one
    • do not inverse first name/last name etc.
  • Respect the deadlines: Reference time for deadlines is the time displayed in Conftool!
